Deadline approaches: CPAF screening survey

Admin - 25/06/2018, 14:49

Community pharmacy contractors are reminded that they have until 11.59pm on Sunday 1st July 2018 to complete the 2018/19 Community Pharmacy Assurance Framework (CPAF) screening questionnaire.

59% of contractors had submitted the survey as of 21st June, which is broadly in line with previous years. Last year, 98% had completed it by the deadline.

We recommend that any contractor who has yet to do so takes immediate action. It should only take approximately 20 to 30 minutes to complete.

All contractors should have received a link to complete the screening questionnaire in an email sent to the pharmacy's premises shared NHSmail account*. If a contractor has not received the survey link, they can use this link and enter the pharmacy F code to access the survey.

The questionnaire has been revised for 2018/19, with two new questions (see our previous news story). PSNC has published PSNC Briefing 032/18: CPAF screening questionnaire changes which explains these changes and provides clarification on some of the questions asked. It also contains the screening questionnaire in full so that contractors can view all the information prior to completing it.

For further guidance and FAQs, please visit our contract monitoring webpage or NHS Business Services Authority's website.

*Accessing the survey via this email will demonstrate that the pharmacy can receive NHSmail. If you also send an email from your NHSmail account, you will then meet the NHSmail Quality Payments gateway criterion: 'On the day of the review, pharmacy staff at the pharmacy must be able to send and receive NHSmail from their shared premises NHSmail account'.
